Bei der OCEAN Studie wird untersucht, ob die langfristig erfolgreiche Beseitigung von Vorhofflimmern durch perkutane Katheterablation zu einer Reduzierung von Schlaganfällen führt, so dass eine Langzeitbehandlung mit oralen Antikoagulanzien überflüssig wird.
