Wearable Support
First and second support: What should I do if the patient has difficulty using the wearable?
Preventicus, Corsano as well your CRA try to help you to solve the problem as well as they can!
Additionally, please find wearable training material in the MAESTRIA cloud. This training material gives you a brilliant overview about how to install, register, connect and solve problems with the wearable. Under no circumstances should the patient contact Preventicus or your monitor directly, even though we know that solving application problems is sometimes very time-consuming. We would therefore like to take this opportunity to thank you for your commitment and support!
For all new study teams or all teams who would like to be retrained, please register for the 1-hour wearable training in mid-May. Preventicus will provide information on the correct use and common problems with the wearable and app. You are welcome to use this opportunity to address also individual problems. AFNET will send you an invitation as soon as possible. Take the opportunity to bring yourself up to date and take part!
Withdrawal patients:
please continue to follow up all withdrawal patients for as long as possible!
So far, 17 patients have withdrawn their consent before the end of the 1-year follow-up period. If a patient wishes to withdraw their consent, please ask them if they wish to remain in the study without having to use the wearable. All data collected from each individual patient is valuable for data analysis.
Completed patients:
The first patients completed their one-year follow-up in March. We thank the patients for their participation in MAESTRIA-AFNET 10! Please do not forget to send the quality of life questionnaires to all patients who are about to finish the study in order to complete the follow-up soon. AFNET will provide prepaid return envelopes to all study teams for this purpose.
